The low temperature plasma sterilizers use high concentration hydrogen peroxide as a sterilant. The sterilant is first injected into a sterilizing room under a vacuum less than 100PA to be vaporized and diffused fully. Then the vapor is rendered in a plasma state by high-frequency voltage so that it becomes as activated as to break down instantly at high speed and etch the protein and nucleic acid in microorganisms attached on the surface of oxidizing appliance to inactivate them. The medical appliances are thus sterilized. After sterilization, the sterilizers decompose the hydrogen peroxide into oxygen and water automatically. No toxic matters remain. Medical care personnel can be protected from damages. Environmental pollution is avoided.
